Ease or difficulty depends largely upon people's experience with various things and how they interact with others. Funny comic, it's showing the absurdity because obviously it would be less troublesome to say ';stop calling me, doing so makes me despise you and upsets me and makes me scared, if you care for me you will stop.';





But hey, if you're in the middle of a relationship: issue-based. People get into relationships for a certain reason, so explain to the person you're with why they do not adequately fulfill those reasons for you.





You'd really have to get more specific if you want better advice, like the reason why you want to break up. If you don't know or can't summarize it to others it'll be pretty much impossible to tell your partner.
Make sure it's face-to-face. The cardinal rule when breaking up with someone properly is that you have to do it in person! No phone call, email or text message is sufficient or fair. You've been with this person long enough that he or she deserves an in-person discussion. So make sure you break up with someone while in his or her presence.
It really depends on how you love/hated the person. The more time you took, the more it will make you harder to decide.

Someone always gets hurt :( but sometimes we have to be cruel to be kind...the person we end up hurting could actually end up much happier in the future. :)
