How do you break up with someone who won't let you break up with them?

I've been in a relationship with this guy for 6 months. Part of me wants to stay with him and the other part of me completely hates him. Thing is, that part of me that hates him has no logical reasoning, it's just a feeling, something I can't control. I've tried breaking up with him 3 times. Once I just flat out said it was over, but he always starts talking and five minutes later we're back together. What should I do?How do you break up with someone who won't let you break up with them?
