Is there any way to break up with someone without hurting them?

My ex broke up with me in a nice way.He did it in person and he was straight up and honest.He even gave me hug at the end and tell me to take care of myself.





I thought i would be fine but i am hurt.How long does it take for the pain to go away?Is there any way to break up with someone without hurting them?
its impossible: even if u didn't care about the guy, you'd still be offended that he broke up with you. it takes a while for the pain to go away, so don't dwell on it, surround yourself with friends and go out and have fun with life!
